The Sailing Chartering a crewed yacht is a relaxing experience. The crew handles all of the navigational chores. For the bareboat sailor, Greek sailing is veritable pleasure. There are no significant currents, tides, reefs, or shoals. Fog is rare and the distance between islands varies from 15 to 30 miles. The high elevations of the islands makes navigation almost line-of -site. Safe anchorages are easy to find and are usually in 12-20 feet of water with a sandy bottom. Our boats come with a complete line of the latest books, charts, and other navigational aids. As part of the orientation, you will be able to go over your itinerary in detail. |
| The Islands More than other areas that are visited by yachtsmen, Greece offers not only exciting and pleasurable sailing but each island has its own unique dramatic landscapes and atmosphere. Secluded beaches and quiet bays offer solitude and tranquility. Beautiful vistas, taverns on the water's edge, delectable cuisine, fine wines, nightlife, museums, and archaeological sites await the curious visitor. The Greek islands offer a bright contrast of color, sounds, and tastes that can only be experienced by immersing ones self in the hospitable local culture that each island has to offer. Whether you wish to anchor in the village harbor, private cove, or in a larger harbor, the choice is YOURS!

The People Spontaneous friendliness for strangers is a tradion among the Greeks. Be at ease with them and they will go far to prove that they are descendants of the land of "Xenios Zeus", Hospitable Zeus. Blend with them and learn to enjoy with them. Three people, four different opinions, lively discussions, laughs, ouzo, dancing, retsina all make Greeks a different race. A Greek, warm sunshine, calm seas, beautiful islands, and the calm simplicity that surround you makes a superb combination for pleasure. |
